Founded in 1953, Bamal Fastener is a privately held, full-line distributor of fasteners and Class-C items to some of the world's largest manufacturers. The organization expanded from a small storefront in Detroit, MI to an industry-leading, international organization by delivering customized supply-chain solutions focused on cost reduction.

For over 70 years, Bamal Fastener has supported production, aftermarket, and MRO requirements for clients in the automotive, commercial, military, and industrial markets. Bamal is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and is headquartered in Charlotte, NC. The company and its affiliates operate facilities throughout the United States and Mexico.

Our Founding Story

What began as a small storefront in Detroit, Michigan in 1953 has grown into an industry-leading international organization. President and CEO Kevin Miller started his career at Bamal at the age of 16, working on the warehouse floor during summers and never looked back. His passion for solving client problems drives the company forward today, continuing the family legacy across more than seven decades.

Holds a degree in Economics from Johns Hopkins University. Won NCAA Division I National Championships as a member of the JHU Men's Lacrosse Team from 2003-2007.

Career began in banking after attending a prestigious business school in Colombia where he is from. Joined Bamal in 2010.
